About the author
and this book

Jesse Heller wrote the book My Generation for his brothers and extended family, in memory of his mother and father, on a highway of diamonds with nobody on it. His mother passed away from a cardiac event in her sleep just five years after his father succumbed to an aggressive cancer. This book serves as a tribute not only to his parents but also to the legacy of their generation, whose music, civil rights activism, and numerous acts of progress profoundly influenced him.

Italian artist Francesco Orazzini created stunning artwork that evokes the nostalgic illustrations of the books Jesse read as a child on faded yellow paperbacks. Jesse hopes Francesco's beautiful images will rekindle the loving presence of his parents, keeping their memories alive.
